faces of the flowers.

i discovered a piece of myself here that was non existent until my feet sank into the roots of this soil.

slowly learning. finding my way each day. expanding. stretching inwards.

in all reality i do not know where i'll be in 5 years. or even 1 year. i am okay not knowing.

there is something intriguingly beautiful about that.

i am gently releasing all societal restraints and restrictions.

once you find self identification in the home which is your body,

the infinite essence of your spirit will gradually begin to surface.

our souls do not cease to exist at the surface of our skin, or in the walls of our homes, they extend boundlessly outward.

let judgment and fear melt away.

gradually you will begin to understand that you are consciousness experiencing itself.

let the illusion of past and future drift away and step in the the realm of now.

where limitless possibilities await.

2 years ago i sold everything i owned. dropped out of college.

quit my job at the bank. packed up the little bit I had,

stuffed everything into a 50 liter backpack, flung it across my fragile spine and took off with a one way plane ticket headed west.

no plans.

determined to become free of the concrete constructed environment in which i was living.

i’ve found a home here.

not necessarily the 4 walls and roof over my head, but in the unpredictability of the present moment.

i've found that what i have been searching for all along was already within me.

the whole time chasing something which was, myself.

i have been reminded that sacred love is what guided me here.

it has and always will carry me through life.

this writing goes out to those entrenched in self inflected fear and guilt.

for those who are searching for this love.

listen to the whispers echoing from the heartbeat of Mother Earth.

let her be a source of healing.

a source of discovery.

we are not without each other.

Unfolded by the water are the faces of the flowers.
